【Beginner Chinese】15 classes 

Having a good foundation of a new language is important. I have many years of teaching beginners. I will help you build up your Chinese language system. After this course, you can not only pronounce Chinese words through reading PINYIN correctly but also reach the following goals. (This course is equivalent to HSK 1.)

• use greetings

• use simple phrases to introduce people

• use simple phrases to discuss likes or dislikes

• use simple phrases to express gratitude

• discuss people in my family and their names

• describe people, places, and possessions in simple terms

• talk about the number of people in a family

• know rules for tone changes

• identify basic structures of Chinese characters.  

【Basic Conversational Chinese】

After the beginner stage, our language class focus will switch to “Communicative ability.” In this basic conversation Chinese class, you will be able to talk about everyday topics, such as Hobbies, Shopping, Food and Drink, Locations and Positions, and Transportation.

• This course is equivalent to HSK 2 and TOCFL 1.

【Intermediate Chinese 123】

Advance your oral fluency and increase your oral expressions

In this course series, I will help you reach intermediate-low or/and intermediate-mid proficiency levels. The Topics covered are various. You will be able to express your thoughts and comments at a certain length level, which allows you to have interesting and meaningful conversations with your friends or Chinese family members.  

• This course series is equivalent to HSK 3, HSK4, and HSK 5

• This course series is equivalent to TOCFL level 2, level 3, and level 4

【Chinese Story class】15 classes 

Learning cultures through stories is effective in increasing your vocabulary and cultivating a good sense of the Chinese language. Your expression will be gradually natural and you can fluently share your life experiences with people.  

【Chinese News Class】15 classes 

At the level of Intermediate-high Chinese class, we will continue to enrich our language expressions and expand our vocabulary size. You will have a clear understanding of basic vocabulary and advanced vocabulary. Through reading popular news or topics, you will have a chance to polish your expressions in terms of speaking or writing.   

• This course is equivalent to HSK 6 and HSK 7

• This course is  equivalent to TOCFL level 4 and 5
